Is this Street Fighter 5 Season 2's next DLC character? One of Mika's wrestling rivals might match the silhouette very closely

We are still waiting to find out the identities of the five remaining DLC characters in Street Fighter 5 Season 2. The community has speculated up and down about who each fighter could be, and today we have one that is very interesting and I hadn't seen before.


For this year's Free Comic Book Day (May 6th), Capcom is giving out a Street Fighter 5 "Wrestling Special" issue that features R. Mika's rivals in the ring. Front and center on the cover is Sunrise Nishisenba going up against Mika -- a character who happens to resemble the first silhouette on the Season 2 characters promotion image.

EventHubs reader tavomax pointed out the similarity to us, and from what I can see it does match up quite well. Below you can see the comic book cover, the silhouettes (for comparison) and a preview of the issue.

Looking a Sunrise's concept art, we can see that she has the fuzzy hat -- which many believe makes Helen a dead ringer for the second DLC spot -- a skirt, and a collared vest. These all seem to be traits of the silhouette, from my perspective, anyway.

We learn from Sunrise's CFN profile that she actually isn't very good at wrestling moves, despite her occupation. Her fighting style revolves around hard-hitting strikes, which would be a deviation from R. Mika and potentially making her different enough to be featured on the playable roster.

"Sunrise entered the world of wrestling after being introduced by her older university classmate Yoko Harmageddon. She is infamous for her clumsiness, and not particularly good with throws and chokes, so she prefers to use direct powerful blows. Her finisher is the Tequila Sunset Lariat."

Of course, this is all speculation. We won't know the characters' true identities until Capcom spills the beans.

Still, this theory is an interesting one, especially considering how convinced many of us are that Helen is the next DLC fighter.
