If you're a regular Street Fighter 5 online player, chances are good you heard an all too familiar "ba-bum" noise in your head when you saw the error message in the banner above.

While SF5's online play has received a handful of positive tweaks and updates since the game's initial release last February, it seems much of the community is still unsatisfied with their network experiences.

Japanese player Agomi79 has vocalized this by starting a petition asking Capcom to make the changes the community desperately wants. You can read his plea below.

SF5 Petition

Street Fighter 5 has been released in February 2016. It has been almost one year, but the network system is still horrible and the network connection always shut down everyday.

If you are a Street Fighter 5 user, you get frustrated everyday. Sometimes we don't get LP even through we win in ranked match. Also, all users got shut down together. We have no idea when and how Capcom will fix its network errors. We don't even know if they try to solve. We just cannot wait anymore.

But we wanna enjoy more with this game. We wanna play this game forever. We are fighting game fans! So, we need to change it!
We have reached out to Capcom for a statement on this matter, but have not yet received a response.

If you'd like to sign the petition yourself, you can find it over at Change.org.
