Things just didn't go BST|Daigo's way this weekend at Topanga League as the four time Topanga champion finished day three with a record of 0-6.

The Beast's competition were six of the strongest Street Fighter 5 players to play the game thus far, including the likes of FOX|Tokido, MJS|Haitani and GGP|Kazunoko.

During his bout today with CO|Go1's Chun-Li, Daigo found himself with an opportunity to recreate the most famous tournament sequence in fighting game community history: EVO Moment 37. Here's how it played out:

Considering The Beast's storied history in the FGC, this is a fairly unprecedented turn of events. Community banter has highlighted Daigo's main character, Ryu, as being heavily nerfed here in Season 2.

Capcom recently announced that further balance changes are to be announced next month, and so we wonder Ryu's fate come March.
