Bandai Namco recently held a live stream event in which they showcased the latest build of Dragon Ball FighterZ. They brought in special guests to help demonstrate what the newly revealed characters can do and give viewers an overall look at the upcoming title.

Maximilian joined in on the fun, and during his time there was able to get hands-on time with Goku Black, Beerus, and Hit -- the three most recently announced fighters. Today, we have a breakdown from Max that covers Hit and the various techniques he comes equipped with.

To kick us off, Max notes that Hit has a really strong ground game. In fact, he feels that this character is one of the best ground/rushdown characters in the game, next to Yamcha.

Unfortunately, Hit is not great in the air. Max points out that this isn't too big of an issue, though, as there aren't many air battles in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Hit is also the game's first proper "counter" character. He has the ability to perform an action that will stop oncoming attacks, then follow up with a quick move across the screen to punish the opponent.

Max goes on to explain that Hit seems to be a fairly execution-heavy and technical character due to his stance cancels. There will be instances where players will perform a chain, use a stance cancel, and continue the sequence with more attacks, which differs quite a bit from what we've seen in the game so far.

There's a lot more to dig into here, so be sure to check out the video. And if you haven't seen it already, be sure to check out Max's breakdown of Goku Black.
