Goku Black has a divekick, teleport overhead, full screen command grab and more; Maximilian breaks down the new Dragon Ball FighterZ character

'Goku Black is very different from every other Goku in the game'

The Dragon Ball FighterZ news continues as Maximilian shares with us an early breakdown of Goku Black.

"Gameplay-wise I'd like to give him the comparison of Ryu to Evil Ryu, and while many people will call Evil Ryu a clone character, he is dramatically different from Ryu in almost every single way," explains Max.

We get to see a showcase of some of Goku Black's special moves, including his Instant Transmission technique which teleports him directly in front of his foe (or behind them at the cost of one bar of meter) to perform an overhead.

Having had considerably more time with DBF than most, Max identifies meter usage and opening up opponents as central to the game's flow. He goes on to say that Goku Black has a lot of ways of opening foes up, insinuating that he may be on the stronger side of the roster.

What's more, GB has a full screen command grab in his Binding Black Kamehameha that sees Zamasu pop up behind the opponent to grab them so that Goku Black can blast them.
