The Game Awards 2017 live stream kicks off at 5:30 PDT; rumors of big new reveal circulate

Could we be seeing a new entry in a certain 'soulful' franchise?

Tonight is the big night for gaming as the Game Awards 2017 ceremony is set to be held in Southern California around 5:30 PDT.

Games off all shapes, sizes and genres have been nominated for awards across the board, and while fighting games didn't permeate through most other categories, they did get a category of their own.

Best Fighting Game of 2017 will come down to between five newcomers this year, including: Arms, Injustice 2, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Nidhogg 2 and Tekken 7.

Not only are we excited to see which games take home which awards, speculations of major reveals have been circulating the internet at quite a frequent rate as of late.

While names like Devil May Cry 5 and Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding have been talked about, we've also been hearing about the possibility of Soulcalibur 6 seeing daylight for the very first time.
