The big weekend is upon us. After months of incredible tournament action, the Capcom Pro Tour comes to its conclusion with Capcom Cup 2017.

32 of the best Street Fighter 5 players in the world will slug it out for over $370,000, a trophy with their name on it, and the title of champion.

They say that in order to have a clue to where you're going, you should look at where you've been. Tonight, we're going to do just that with the Capcom Cup finals.

In honor of this weekend's upcoming action, let's take a look back at the Capcom Cup 2016 top 8 matches.

In the finals of last year's event we saw Liquid|NuckleDu, EG|Ricki Ortiz, GGP|Kazunoko, GRPT|Haitani, GRPT|Fuudo, MOV, YouDeal|Yukadon, and CO|Go1. NuckleDu and Ricki Ortiz found themselves in the grand finals and closed out the event with an all-American player match-up.

After a 3-1 loss to Du in winners finals, Ricki battled back by defeating Kazunoko's Cammy in the losers finals. From there, Ricki and Du took part in an exhilarating battle to close out the 2016 Pro Tour.

Included here we have replays of the last five sets from Capcom Cup 2016. From losers quarter finals to grand finals, you can watch through the epic conclusion to last year's event. If you'd like to check out all of the top 8, you can find the playlist here.
