Street Fighter Transformers action figures now have a video advertisement that plays on the iconic Street Fighter 2 intro

If you've been reading us here on EventHubs in recent weeks, you may recall our mention of some brand new Street Fighter Transformers action figures. Well, now there's a video ad.

Stylized to coincide with the iconic Street Fighter 2 cinematic intro, the ad takes some liberties by replacing bits and pieces (like Akuma) with Transformer related material.

Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and M. Bison (Dictator) all get remade into robots from the Transformers Titans Return and Generations toy lines. These are actually remodels of existing characters including Rodimus (Ken), Acree (Chun-Li), Megatron (M. Bison) and Convoy (Ryu).

As far as we can tell, these are only available in Japan for the time being, but given the far reaching popularity of both the Transformers and Street Fighter franchises, we wouldn't be surprised to see them eventually become available in other regions.

Also, we'll address the elephant in the room, there's no Transformer for Abigail, Street Fighter's biggest (both in stature and hobby) motorhead.

Here are a few stills so you can see the figures themselves, but be sure to watch the full trailer below.
