Another week, another batch of exciting things happening in the fighting game community. From new content to changes in the Capcom Cup Bracket, we got the review right here!.

Though EventHubs posts several stories a day, not everyone gets a chance to check them out. So, here we have a recap for anyone who might have missed anything.

Today we're going to take a look back at some of the big headlines that went up on our front page from November 25th through today (December 1st).

We have new costumes in Street Fighter 5. Not only that, but new content for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be launching on December 5th.

There was also some changes made to the Capcom Cup bracket as a result of Liquid|NuckleDu having to drop out. Also, we have some speculation about the supposed "fighting president" character that is rumored for Season 3 of Street Fighter 5.

Let's get started.

It seems as though reigning Capcom Cup champion Liquid|NuckleDu won't be defending his title this year. While this is unfortunate to hear, we wish NuckleDu all the best.

As a result of this, EG|Ricki Ortiz will be competing instead. She was the runner-up last year.

Ricki Ortiz did not have enough CPT points to otherwise compete this year. As a result of this, she has the 31st seed instead of taking NuckleDu's 3rd seed in the bracket.

As you might expect, this caused a number of changes in the bracket.

We've been hearing rumors about some "fighting president" for Season 3 of Street Fighter 5. This has left a lot of room for speculation.

Some concepts of characters that almost made it into Street Fighter 5 at launch have been dug up. This may give us clues in the appearance and mannerisms of a president character.

Interestingly enough, the concept of this bears a lot of similarities to the current president of the United States, Donald Trump. The hair comparisons are especially hilarious.

Did Street Fighter 5 have a Donald Trump inspired character in the works at one point?

Everyone loves new costumes in Street Fighter 5, right? To celebrate the holidays, a number of fighters have gotten costumes themed to this concept.

There are also a few nostalgic costumes thrown in for the likes of Birdie, Karin, Balrog. and Chun-Li. Chun-Li ended up getting a total of three additional costumes.

There was even a reference to Disney's Frozen with Kolin's costume...

New content is on the way for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Twelve new costumes will become available on December 5th.

That Proto Man outfit for Frank West sure does look cool... Characters like Rocket Raccoon and Gamora are also looking pretty stylish now.

In addition to this, we're getting breakdowns for Winter Soldier, Venom, and (later) Black Widow).

Winter Soldier can walk through attacks without taking any damage, has grenades that bounce off walls, and more in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Venom has scary ground traps, gets a combo from Web Throw without tag, and much more in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Geese Howard has been released for Tekken 7. He's already looking like a very powerful character.

Should the correct situation present itself, it looks as though Geese Howard is capable of touch of death combos. Scary.

Finally, we got a trailer for Kid Buu in Dragon Ball FighterZ. He's a fighter with a very short fuse.

We already knew Kid Buu was in the game, but this was our first glimpse at his actual gameplay.
