Dragon Ball FighterZ collector's edition revealed, beta sign ups begin today
Pre-order for early access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta
At Gamescom today we witnessed the reveal of a brand new Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer. This time, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 16, and Android 18 were given their time in the spotlight.
Among the new gameplay, we also received new information on the game and a special purchase option. For starters, we can expect Dragon Ball FighterZ to drop sometime in February of 2018.
Also revealed in this trailer is a collector's edition of the game. The "Collectorz Edition" option comes included with a 7” Goku statue with exclusive “Manga Dimension” coloring, a steel book case, three art boards, a special box to keep everything in, and oh, the game itself, of course.
This collector's package will run you $139.99 USD.
Those who pre-order a physical copy the game will get early access to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, as well as two exclusive lobby avatars. The trailer doesn't specify whether or not these two fighters are being added later as DLC or are simply going to be unlockable (perhaps through one of the game's modes), but if I were a betting man, I'd say the former.
Last, but not least, sign ups for the closed beta test begin today. To fill out your application, hit this link. At the time of writing this, it seems that the site is down -- likely due to the large amount of people trying to sign up -- but check back periodically if you'd like to try and get our application in.
