In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Vegeta uses a seven bar combo on Frieza but doesn't kill him

Are touch of deaths less prominent compared to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3?

In Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, most hits at the highest level of gameplay usually resulted in a character down. These were often referred to as touch of death combos.

This was a game that gave each player up to 5 bars of hyper meter. Depending on the characters used, a varying amount of resources were necessary in order to finish off a character very quickly.

As for Dragon Ball FighterZ, there are a whopping seven bars of meter that can be used for super-esque attacks. How does this scale with character damage output?

Well first of all, we do have to acknowledge that this is a game that is still in development. Not only that, but it's almost guaranteed that combos right now are not optimal.

A user that goes by the name of CDClarke on Twitter has uploaded an interesting GIF. It showcases Vegeta performing a very long combo on Frieza.

Despite using all of his energy, starting from the max, he wasn't able to kill Frieza from 100% health. He did manage to bring him to about 20% of his life though. Still, it doesn't seem worth it...
