A very healthy percentage of the fighting game community are also avid fans of World Wrestling Entertainment, and so having one of the biggest Superstars in the WWE attend EVO this year made the experience borderline surreal for some.

When he isn't defending the WWE Tag Team Championship with his fellow New Day members, you'll often find Austin Creed (known in the ring as Xavier Woods) playing video games.

He has created a successful YouTube channel in UpUpDownDown that chronicles his gaming adventures, and one of his recent uploads shows the world his exciting EVO escapade.

Creed got to speak with SPY|Filipino Champ, East Coast tournament organizer Big E (who shares his name with one of Creed's tag team partners) and wound up facing one of the absolute greatest Tekken players in the world, Knee, for his first round in the tournament.

While it may not have been realistic to expect to defeat Knee, Creed did make it his goal to take at least one round off the Korean player before it was all said and done.

You'll see if Creed completed what he set out to do, as well as experience the fun and excitement of his EVO story in the full video.
