Six DLC characters and season pass coming to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - Sigma revealed as first post-launch fighter

If you blindly throw a dart at our homepage right now, chances are you'll hit a juicy bit of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite news. (I don't advise you throw darts at anything other than a dartboard, just to clarify).

One thing that was briefly shown at the end of this morning's Story Mode trailer, which may have gone unnoticed amidst all the excitement, was the reveal of Sigma as a DLC character. Outside of the quick graphic, a quick line in the Capcom Unity blog gave us more information on how Capcom will be handling DLC for their latest crossover title.

Much like Street Fighter 5, we will be seeing the release of a season pass -- for those who want to score the first wave of DLC characters in one go. According to this morning's blog, there will be six post-launch fighters to start, and Sigma is the first of them revealed.

As it stands right now, there is no information on individual character pricing or the price of the season pass itself.

We do know, however, that purchasing the Deluxe Edition of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite -- which will run you $89.99 MSRP -- will include the season pass, as well as four pre-order costumes.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th, 2017.
