Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite hits stores September 19th; story trailer shows Ultron Sigma, reveals several playable characters

The drought is over. This morning we received some big news regarding Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.


First up, the highly anticipated versus series title now has an official release date. Fans can look forward to picking up the game on September 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Capcom's own Peter "Combofiend" Rosas notes in today's Capcom Unity blog post that the game will come equipped with Arcade, Training, Mission, and online modes. Additionally, we'll be seeing a Story Mode.

MvCI's first story mode trailer was unveiled this morning and features a new villainous super power. The fusion of Marvel Comics' Ultron and Capcom's Sigma, known as Ultron Sigma, appears to be the game's main bad guy.
