Three out of four EventHubs staff members are disgusted by this Urien punish combo - you won't believe what the fourth member said

Every now and then, us EventHubs staff members are presented with something on our desks that leaves a huge divide in our happy little setup. As if Urien wasn't causing us to vomit enough as it is (probably from watching our characters get juggled all the time)...

What has the world come to when a Urien can punish a whiffed command grab after jumping backwards? Urien clearly defies the laws of nature.

What am I referring to exactly? Well, you see, AW|Nemo put up a video that showcases Urien punishing R. Mika's whiffed command grab with very impressive damage after jumping back.

Hit the jump below to hear what our local resident Urien main, Steven 'DreamKing' Chavez, had to say before being promptly fired (but we'll have to rehire him for tomorrow morning's shift).

"Since I'm the only one defending this combo, I will explain why I think it's fine as is.

Firstly, and this is the obvious one, Urien is using all of his resources to pull this combo off. Several characters can score that much damage with the same amount of meter.

Secondly, some characters can punish those who jump back (mostly from jump back OS), this character can punish a move with a ton of recovery when he jumps back. It's not the end of the world.

Character specific punishes have existed since as far back as I can remember. Back in Street Fighter 4, Balrog's weird hurtbox made him susceptible to all kinds of hard-hitting punishes that were specific to him.

Urien has a unique set of tools and can use them in very unique ways. All I can say is, if you're a Mika player... be careful trying to command grab Urien when he's fully stocked."

(Editor's note: In all seriousness, we all think this is a pretty cool combo, but don't tell Steven I said that.)
