Capcom is gearing up for another strong presentation at Tokyo Game Show this weekend. Kicking off on Thursday and running throughout the weekend, the company who brings us Street Fighter, among other things, has much planned for this event.

Unfortunately, Executive Producer on the Street Fighter series, Yoshinori Ono, will no longer be attending TGS. According to a recent tweet, Ono is not feeling too well, and he stated that he'll be skipping this year's festivities.

At Tokyo Game Show, Capcom will be holding their Japan Cup 2016 tournament, a Capcom Pro Tour premier event that grants the winner a guaranteed spot on the Capcom Cup 2016 line up. The best of the best from Japan will undoubtedly be competing, so if you're looking for some top-notch Street Fighter 5 action, be sure to tune in.

Not only that, but Capcom has previously stated that the release date for Urien and the September updates will be unveiled at the expo. Ono is often at the helm of these large announcements (when he is in attendance), so it's a shame that we won't be seeing him bring the hype this weekend.

We wish you a speedy recovery, Mr. Ono.
