Street Fighter 5 ships less than 100k units between the months of April and September - Street Fighter 5 currently Capcom's 46th highest shipped game

A user that goes by the name of 'Ōkami' over at NeoGAF pointed out that less than 100k units of Street Fighter 5 have been shipped between the months of April and September. Currently the number of copies for the game shipped sits at 1.4 million, which was the same number listed in May.

Being that the number of games shipped isn't listed as 1.5 million or higher, it means that Street Fighter 5 is struggling to sell. It seems that Capcom was hoping to sell 2 million units by March 31st.

With the current number of units shipped sitting at 1.4 million, this makes Street Fighter 5 Capcom's 46th best selling game. While the game has only come out this year, this does mean there are 45 games that have been more successful for Capcom.

Could this have an effect on how long Capcom provides future content for Street Fighter 5?

Edit: It seems as though this number does include the number of digital copies of the game as well. This is listed on the Capcom financial site:

"DL (Full-game download) includes PlayStation®Network, Xbox Live, Wii Ware and all digital download units on Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC etc."

"DL" is listed next to Street Fighter 5. This list is stated to be accurate as of September 30, 2016.
