So it appears as though the two guest polls that Ed Boon set up for Injustice 2 on Twitter have now been closed. As expected, based on what we saw before, Sub-Zero and Spawn have easily won the polls.

Sub-Zero won over fellow Mortal Kombat characters Raiden, Johnny Cage, and Jax. Spawn ended up taking it over Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hellboy, and the Terminator.

Ed Boon's comments regarding these results have been very interesting...

Followers of the original Injustice game might remember a data mining incident where the initials of "SZ" were found inside of the game's coding. Many fans speculated that Sub-Zero was at one point planned to join the roster of Injustice as DLC, similar to Scorpion.

It seems one fan was hoping to see Hellboy's addition into the game rather than Spawn. Ed Boon made a comment that gives hope to fans of both characters.

Could Ed Boon just be teasing fans or could we really be seeing both Spawn and Hellboy added to the Injustice 2 roster?

Some characters, unsurprisingly, do not appear to have any chance of entry into the series based on Ed Boon's comments.
