There are no good guys in this upcoming 2D fighter, just villains, gore and mayhem; 'Rotten Core' looks like it has the potential to be amazing

Riddled with obvious influences from iconic fighting games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and King of Fighters, Rotten Core is a two dimensional fighting game that features only villainous characters on its roster.

We have to admit that at first glance, we were a bit unsure of things, but after watching the trailer and reading the game's break down, we're convinced there's some real potential here.

Rotten Core has traditional fighting game mechanics, like Super (Madness) Meter, and Critical (Rotten) Arts, but it also brings to the table a fresh style in the Cross Impact mechanic.
