Zangief can store his Critical Art in Street Fighter 5, and the implications are huge; the Iron Cyclone just became a whole lot scarier

James Chen recently discovered some tech with Zangief in Street Fighter 5 that may have more than just a few new players gravitating to the Iron Cyclone.


Gief can actually store his 720 input for his Critical Art for quite a long time. We're not talking Super Turbo E.Honda storage, but the Russian wrestler can take a full step forward after inputting the motion for CA before activating it.

This means he can input his CA, walk into range and grab his foe with his one-frame Super Combo. Here's a quick example:

The fun doesn't stop there however, as Chen goes on to show us some pretty terrifying applications for this tech.
