Time to reevaluate Zangief in Street Fighter 5? Infexious takes on Daigo in a surprisingly close set

If a character is big, slow and regarded as lower tier by the many, you can bet RIZE|Infexious will be playing them.

Known primarily for his impressive Hugo play in Ultra Street Fighter 4, Infexious has taken the road less traveled in Street Fighter 5, and chosen to stick with Zangief despite the general consensus that the character can't keep up.

Whilst at Dreamhack last weekend, Infexious was able to play a 40 game set with RB|Daigo, and he had some pretty impressive results. While the European player didn't exactly best The Beast, he certainly gave him a run for his money:

F-Word notes in his description that the final score was 24-16 in favor of Daigo. Still, that's a pretty impressive run for Infexious considering the opposition, and the fact that he's pitting the worst character in the game against the best according to many popular tier lists.
