Update: This story has been updated with the full games list, and you'll find it after the jump.

Earlier: It's hard to believe, but it's already EVO season again, and we're preparing for tonight's live reveal of the tournament's 2016 game lineup.

Straight from the Red Bull eSports studio in Santa Monica, CA, Mike Ross and Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar will announce which of our favorite titles will be part of this year's iteration of the grandest ongoing tournament in the FGC.

One of the biggest questions floating around right now is whether or not Street Fighter 4, the game that's seen the most popularity at EVO, will be back this year. With Street Fighter 5 dropping next month, organizers may shift their entire focus to the new title, leaving the old one entirely.

We're also curious to see if both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Smash 4 appear on the official lineup, as well as which anime games and 3D fighters make the cut.

The live stream begins at 7 p.m. PST, and you can watch it right here by clicking below.
EVO 2016 Game Line Up

Street Fighter 5
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-
Mortal Kombat X
Pokkén Tournament
Killer Instinct
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Tekken 7
This year there will be two venues for the tournament. Friday and Saturday festivities will take place in the Las Vegas Convention Center, but the Sunday finals will take place in the Mandalay Bay Event Center.

The official hotel of EVO 2016 will be The Westgate, which is just a short walk away from the Convention Center. Final day tickets will actually be assigned seating, and so you'll need to buy in bulk in order to sit with friends.

Mr. Wizard also stated, in regards to DLC and updates, that any content that comes out at least five weeks before EVO will be tournament viable. This means the new Smash 4 characters will be fair game, and we'll have an idea of which SF5 and MKX DLC characters will be legal.

How do you feel about this year's line up? Let us know in the comments.
