New secret menus discovered in Mortal Kombat games over 23 years after release

The original Mortal Kombat came out back in 1992, but it wasn't until recently that some secret "Ed Boon" menus were discovered in Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3.

These menus were obviously meant, as most secret content was back in the day, for developers to gain easy access to parts of the game that were otherwise difficult or time consuming to reach.

While the EJB menus don't harbor the most ground breaking of content, the fact that we're discovering them only now does testify to how much fun Midway had with secret content.

The video shows you exactly how to access these menus, and what each offers in each game.
Memorize these codes, then the next time you're at an arcade with MK3 you'll still be able to play the Galaga mini game despite having spent all of your change on a payphone trying to call home.
