The much anticipated Street Fighter 5 saw its official release this past Tuesday, but eager fans were quick to discover that the game felt light on single-player content.

With story and survival being the game's only real selections in that department at this time, players were left wondering about the absence of a traditional arcade mode. Capcom has been listening to the public's feedback, and it seems that they may actually implement the much sought after arcade option.

A Capcom representative informed Forbes that the company is currently looking into adding an arcade mode to Street Fighter 5.

Capcom states that more details on this front will be provided soon.
As we noted in our Street Fighter 5 review, the game's story mode features single-round matches that are incredibly easy to win.

We weren't the only ones who felt this way, and according to the aforementioned representative, Capcom has plans to add difficulty sliders to the current story mode.

Doing so will certainly add some much needed challenge to this particular facet.
