Capcom Cup 2016 is bigger than ever; will feature 72 events spread across four regions
The Tour is split into four different regions: North America, South America, Europe and Asia. The final bracket will still feature 32 players with 16 coming from Global Premier Events, and then four coming from each region.
Online players will see more representation this year as online qualifiers will be held, the winners of which be entered into regional qualifying tournaments. There's actually a ton of info, and so we've collected it all in slides for easy viewing.

The Pro Tour, which has had two very successful seasons with Ultra Street Fighter 4, was designed specifically for SF5. Tonight's episode of Capcom Pro Talk with Mike Ross will reveal all the details of this year's Tour.
Who knows what new and exciting facets will be implemented this time around? We have noticed Capcom's efforts to make SF5's netcode more viable than its predecessor's... could we see a surge of online qualifiers in the 2016 CPT?
