Could these be Street Fighter 5 season 2's 'brand new' warriors? The silhouettes match these five characters the best so far

A couple of days ago, we were sent a very interesting tweet. Actually, since the tweet has been deleted, it was a screenshot of the tweet.


Anyway, the Twitter user took a stab at guessing Street Fighter 5 season 2's brand new DLC fighters by using character concept art from the CFN profiles. While we've heard and seen tons of guesses so far, these five characters actually seem to match up pretty darn well.

From left to right, the tweet featured Helen (seen in Street Fighter 5's cinematic story mode), Goutetsu (Akuma/Gouken's master), Matthew McCoy (a member of Delta Red), Satsuki (one of M. Bison's dolls), and Rook (a character who was originally meant to star in the cancelled fighting title, Capcom Fighting All-Stars).

As of right now, all we know about these five mysterious fighters is that they will be "brand new to the Street Fighter universe," according to Street Fighter 5's director, Takayuki Nakayama.

It goes without saying (though I'll say it anyway) that this is all speculation and in no way official confirmation that these characters are indeed season 2's DLC. All that having been said, they seem to match up closely and fit the bill.
