Incredible tests of patience, last moment turn arounds and explosive combos; The war wages on as Daigo takes on Haitani in Street Fighter 5

Earlier in Street Fighter 5's life, BST|Daigo Umehara had some noticeable difficulty playing against MJS|Haitani and his vicious Necalli.


In more recent times it's been Daigo that's had Haitani's number. We've gotten hold of an online set between the two Japanese gods as they continue to try to swing the pendelum in their respective favors.

The Ryu vs. Necalli match has developed into one of patience, as both characters must acknowledge the others' potential for explosive damage. Necalli must use his ground pound to manipulate Ryu, and Ryu must use fireballs to do the same. Both characters threaten with the potential in forward dash, but this is a risky move.

Naturally, this can lead to rounds going down to the wire, as both of these players are disciplined enough to wait out the storm. Here we see such a situation as both players vie for the life lead in the final moments of a round:
