King of Fighters 14 features 'vastly improved online gameplay' and 19 brand new characters

Something that will stand out to fans is their attempt to improve the game's net code over it's predecessor, although this has become a pretty standardized statement with fighting games in this day and age, SNK picked up quite a bit of praise for their updates to KoF13's net code updates on the PC.
"[SNK] devoted a lot of development time to improving the game's netcode for vastly improved online gameplay," the listing for King of Fighters 14 states.
The official description also says there will be 50 fighters total, with 31 returning from previous titles, and 19 brand new characters, although some in the community may dispute how 'new' some of the fighters are.
