'[Tekken X Street Fighter] is on hold at the moment' - Katsuhiro Harada notes difficulties in timing for project delays

GameSpot posted a video interview today with Katsuhiro Harada where he responds to questions regarding Tekken 7's development, how they're planning on addressing rage quitting, if he's ever been mistaken for Ono and more.

However, one question in particular stood up - the very first question brought up was regarding the development of Tekken X Street Fighter, the counterpart to 2012's Street Fighter X Tekken from Capcom. On the subject, Harada notes difficulty in releasing it due not wanting to split up the fanbases. You can find a snippet below.
When we develop fighting games, we try to keep the core community in mind as well as the wider audience that wants to play these games.

But currently the situation is with fighting games, you have Street Fighter V that just released--a lot of people are playing that fervently--and there's a large crowd out there waiting or Tekken 7.
You'll find more from Harada after the jump.
We don't want to split these communities, so a good window in which to release Tekken x Street Fighter is something that's become difficult recently. So it's on hold for the moment.
This falls in line with comments made by Harada late last year.

Basically, it looks like we'll have to wait until the excitement for Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7 die down a bit before we'll get a glimpse at Tekken X Street Fighter.
