New Super Smash Bros. 4 glitch gives Pac-Man's fire hydrant an active hitbox, gains incredible edge-guarding abilities

Not too long ago, we reported about a Super Smash Bros. 4 Pac-Man glitch in which the classic arcade icon had the ability to send the opponent passing through the stage using his trampoline attack. Now, it looks like yet another glitch involving Pac-Man has been discovered.

PEPESPAIN SmashLab put together a video showing that Pac-Man can give his fire hydrant some strange properties if thrown to the ground with precise timing. If done correctly, the hydrant will not shoot out any water, but instead will remain on screen with an active hitbox, meaning that the opponent will get hit any time they come into contact with it.

As you can see in the GIF below, this can lead to some tremendous edge-guarding abilities.
