Street Fighter 5 will be making an appearance at the Taipei Game Show two weeks from now (January 28 to February 1 at the Taipei World Trade Center), Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan announced today.

While it won't be playable to the public, a stage demonstration is planned on Day 4 of the show, on January 31 from 3.30PM to 4.30PM Taipei time -- in PST time that's from January 30 11.30PM to 12.30AM the following day -- with pro gamers MCZ|Daigo and AVM|GamerBee taking on Capcom's very own Yoshinori Ono and Ayano at the show.

Judging from the wording in the press release issued today, it appears that the pro gamers will be taking on the Capcom producers; but here's hoping that Daigo and GamerBee will also go head-to-head with one another at the show. The program is scheduled to go on for an hour, after all.

At the moment there is no word on if the stage program will be streamed live to the rest of the world.
