Back in September, a quick glimpse at a new Mortal Kombat X fight pad from PDP was shown off at the GameStop Expo.

The MKX controller has since resurfaced over at CES 2015 -- a large-scale electronics show that took place this past weekend in Las Vegas -- and luckily briantong was able to record a quick hands-on preview.

Right off the bat, we learn that PDP's upcoming fight pad works on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, as the video shows a toggle switch with both options on the controller's face. In a market where backward compatible gaming peripherals are in high demand, being able to switch between the two consoles with the flip of a switch is a huge plus.

Also, the left-hand side of the pad is longer than the right, and the buttons in this particular controller use micro-switches for smoother presses.

Unfortunately, we haven't gotten a look at the PlayStation 4 version of PDP's MKX pad, so we'll have to wait and see if it feature the same backward compatibility as the Xbox's.

You can check out the preview after the jump.
