Yesterday evening, NetherRealm Studios producer, Shaun Himmerick, confirmed that there will be more than 2 characters from Mortal Kombat 4.

Now, please understand that this brief tweet is all we have to go by. We are hoping that Himmerick is talking about characters that made their debut in MK4. Yes, some of the characters in 4 were featured in Mortal Kombat Mythologies, which came out two weeks prior... we're calling them MK4 characters.

Moving right along, we know that Quan Chi is already on the roster, but there are still six other MK4 originals that are up for grabs.

There's been a lot of hype for the wind god, Fujin. What about the god gone rogue, Shinnok? Or perhaps his general Reiko? The potential for the MKX, fleshed out version of these characters is high.

I personally am not going to put my money on Jarek for the simple reason that he seemed to be a carbon copy of Kano. His move set was virtually the same with his eye laser, cannon ball roll and heart rip. NetherRealm Studios could bring him back and give him his own personality, but I feel like they have other routes they'd more likely go.

It's been 18 years since the release of MK4. Who would you like to see get another bloody go-around and why?
