Smash commentators and community reps D1 and Crimson join Twitch
According to D1, his employment with Twitch would still allow him to do community manager work and commentate or shoutcast on his own accord. Here's what he had to say about the appointment:
D1: I still can't believe I've moved on to royal colored pastures. The thing is, I got a job with a company that lets me still do community manager work. I can still cast if the opportunity arises as well. Thank you so much for everything people. One of the best days of my life.
D1's (and possibly Crimson's) work arrangements with Twitch sound similar to that of Mike Ross; the popular Street Fighter player and co-host of The Excellent Adventures of Gootecks & Mike Ross had previously said that his employment would not affect the production of the Web show. Here at EventHubs we would like to express our heartiest congratulations to both D1 and The Crimson Blue for their new appointments.
