While it has been growing in recent years, the Gamestop Expo that takes place annually in Las Vegas has hardly ever showcased a fighting game before. This year, however, that is going to be changed, with Street Fighter 5 slated to make an appearance at the event.

Yesterday, Gamestop announced that the expo will be live streamed this year, on both Twitch and Youtube. While the stream schedule has all kinds of plans and announcements, there's one piece of the schedule that catches our eye.

What's interesting for our purposes is that Street Fighter 5 will be taking up a block of the stream schedule, with a game overview at 1:45 p.m., and an actual tournament to be held at 2:00 p.m.

It's not too often we get Street Fighter 5 tournaments, and we have yet to see one using the current build with Necalli and Vega. That being said, the tournament holds a lot of promise to see some current action from the game. Will you be tuning in to see the game in action? Sound off below.
