With such a fierce, and instantly impressing, voice, the announcer for Killer Instinct must be some hulking, Viking-like man right? Here he is below:

Chris Sutherland was part of the team, along with Ken Lobb and Kev Bayliss, that put together the original Killer Instinct. Rare Replay has brought forth a video, narrated by Lobb and Bayliss, discussing the beginnings of Killer Instinct.


It was originally a fighter with a block button and no combos, but with the influences from Lobb, and the artistic direction of Bayliss, the KI we've come to know and love slowly took form. Hit the jump below to hear the origin story, and to get an appreciation for just how far KI has come.
