Putting a giant glove and a car's destruction into new perspective – Experience all the action of Street Fighter and Smash Bros. in first person

There's nothing quite like putting ourselves into the eyes of a favorite character. Back when games never broke the second dimension, gamers were often left with their imaginations (and glamorous pause screens in the case of Smash Bros.) to get a close glimpse of the action.

With current technology, though, animated shorts have become an accessible tool to put our fighters into new perspectives.

You might remember PipocaVFX's work from when he put another Street Fighter 2 bonus stage into perspective. His tributes are absolutely fantastic.

In the first video, we have Ken picking a fight with a car, harkening back to Street Fighter 2's classic bonus stage. In the second, we're treated to a stunning view of fighting Master Hand as Link in Super Smash Bros.

Watch the videos below to feel like a doll that's been brought to life or like a guy punching a car with your bare fists.
