Guilty Gear Xrd set for release in North America this fall, still only for PS3 and PS4, will be available to play at E3

The latest entry, which has been a long-time coming, in the long-lived Guilty Gear series has now been officially confirmed to be released in North America for PS3 and PS4 this fall. At the moment, no announcement has been made for a release in other non-Japan territories, such as Europe.

The localization is being handled by Aksys, who regularly bring over niche Japanese titles to foreign territories, and they promise that the latest title from ArcSys (perhaps their similarity in company names is part of the reason they get along so well) will retain signature systems from earlier Guilty Gear titles, such as Roman Cancels, but that many of them have been "significantly expanded and improved."

Whether the console version will include additional content beyond what is already out in Arcades in Japan also remains currently unclear.

Thanks to Mai Shi Long Eezlong and originalhuman for sending this in.
