It was announced today that Ari "fLoE" Weintraub is parting ways with Evil Geniuses' fighting game team after a three-year stint.

Antonio "AJ" Javier, the director of player operations at EG, states that the decision was made in order to improve the team's overall performance. Javier feels that although fLoE is a very talented player, it was necessary to move forward without him.

Both Evil Geniuses' Justin Wong and Ricky Ortiz commented on fLoE's departure, and you can find their statements after the jump.
Justin Wong: Floe is a super close friend of mine but he was also my training partner and a person that I can ask advice about when it came to game time. Amazing player and entertainer and I wish the best for him and no matter what we will always be on the same team.

Ricky Ortiz: I've known Ari for such a long time and it saddens me that such a good friend is leaving EG. I know it won't matter because he is pretty much family to me regardless of which team he is affiliated with. I know we will still join team events as the BEST UMVC3 team in the world always! I always wish you the best of luck in whatever path you may take and whatever the future holds for you, friend. I'll be seeing you at the next event! Love you, Ari!
FLoE is a great player, and always incredibly entertaining to watch. We here at EventHubs wish him the best in his future endeavors.
