Tekken's Katsuhiro Harada making an announcement right before EVO 2014 USF4 Finals; Yoshinori Ono will be present

Yesterday on the SrkEVO2 stream, it was mentioned that Tekken Project development team leader Katsuhiro Harada would be making an announcement on EVO Sunday.

The impending announcement was confirmed later in the day, when Harada himself tweeted an image of the updated EVO Sunday schedule, along with a message reminding members of the Tekken community (specifically Tekken) to take note.

Harada will be making this announcement at around 5.30PM (PDT) on EVO Sunday, sandwiched between the finals for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Ultra Street Fighter 4.

What's interesting is that in the same time block, it was also mentioned that Capcom's Yoshinori Ono would be making an appearance to greet Capcom fighting game fans at the venue -- although that may have nothing to do with Harada's announcement whatsoever.

At this point, it's hard to tell if Harada's announcement would be something that only concerns Tekken fans (which would explain why he's calling out in particular for the Tekken community to take notice), or if it is somehow related to Capcom fighting games as well.

It could very well be related -- the announcement would be made between the grand finals of Capcom's two leading fighting games at the moment, after all. Perhaps Harada had thought that it was a given that Capcom fighting games would be tuning in, and so he called out only to the Tekken community specifically to remind them to tune in as well.

Let the speculations begin, EventHubs. Only one more day till we find out what Harada's announcement is all about.
