JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven wasn't the only new fighting game announced this week.

The upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine will also be revealing on Thursday the first details for BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend, an enhanced port of what's technically the third installment of Arc System Works's fighting game franchise, that will be making its way to the PS3, PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will feature the two new characters (Celica A. Mercury and Lambda-11) that were recently introduced with BBCP Ver. 2.0 in Japanese arcades, as well as all of the balance tweaks included in the updated version.

It will also sport a new "Extend" scenario in the game's story mode that features Bullet, Kokonoe and Kagura heavily.

Cross-platform online play will also be supported between the PS3 and PS4 editions of the game.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend for the PS3, PS4 and XB1 is slated for release in Japan April 23, 2015 and priced at 6,264 yen at retail. Digitally downloadable editions will be priced at 5,800 yen in Japan.

Development on the game is said to be 60 per cent complete.
