Pac-Man's Side+B can be used as air recovery move; move set and Meta Knight's Customizable Specials in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS detailed

This week's issue of Famitsu magazine has the in-depth details to Pac-Man's special moves in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS, and the good folks over at Kantopia have once again taken it upon themselves to translate all the juicy info for fans looking forward to the Nintendo party-slash-fighting game.

Between Famitsu's move list and the E3 character reveal trailer, it is now possible to piece together tricks and fight tactics for use with Pac-Man in the actual game.

For instance, Famitsu reveals that Pac-Man's Side+B special move allows him to travel in a straight line towards whichever direction you're currently holding the analog stick in -- similar to Pikachu's Quick Attack -- which means it can serve as an additional air recovery move, on top of Pac-Man's Up+B.

Other than Pac-Man's move list, this week's Famitsu also shed details on some of Meta Knight's customizable special moves, as well as on a few of the game's stages.

In the trailer we also saw Pac-Man team-up with a homing Galaga fighter to juggle an airborne opponent around the time code 0:47.

As potent as that attack combination may sound, it would appear that players would have to first hold down the B button -- Pac-Man's Neutral Special: Fruit Target -- for a good amount of time to generate the Galaga fighter, before such a combo could be utilized. This seems to greatly limit the effectiveness of Pac-Man's Fruit Target move, since you'd have to be charging up for a short amount of time each time you'd like to summon the Galaga fighter.

Question for EventHubs readers: Which of Pac-Man's moves have you intrigued? Does Pac-Man strike you as a tournament-viable character at this point, given what we know about him?
