Funny kid makes an impression on Daigo in Hong Kong with his 'intense' Ultra Street Fighter 4 play style

This is just too good not to mention.

Last weekend, MCZ|Daigo was in Hong Kong to attend the Ani-Com and Games 2014 convention. While he was there, Sony hosted a stage activity where members of the general public could challenge the Mad Catz-sponsored player for a chance to win fabulous prizes.

Among the throng of convention attendees who went up on stage to play against Daigo, there was one challenger in particular -- a kid -- who left a deep impression on the The Beast.

You can watch the match the kid played against Daigo in the stream archive embedded below, beginning at the timecode 01:28:15 -- but the match itself isn't anything special.

What's truly noteworthy is the off-screen footage of the scrimmage between Daigo and the kid that a spectator at the convention captured on camera, which you'll find right below the stream archive.

For his valiant efforts in stepping up to the plate to take on The Beast, the kid gets to take home an official Street Fighter Mad Catz fight pad.
