The arcade version of Ultra Street Fighter 4 now has a final release date.

At the tail end of the Super Street Fighter 4 CR Edition launch commemoration event, Capcom's Yoshinori Ono announced that the highly-anticipated fighting game will go into service in Japanese arcades on April 17.

Decapre, the 5th new character to be introduced in Ultra Street Fighter 4, will not be playable in the arcade version of the game at first, as Capcom is still fine-tuning the character. She will be added to the roster of the arcade version at a later date, via an update patch.

On the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, Ultra Street Fighter 4 will be released first as a digital upgrade for owners of Super Street Fighter 4 and Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012 in June. A full retail version of the game for PS3 and X360 will subsequently come out in August, alongside a PC release.
