Poll: Do you think the Guard Power Gauge and Guard Crushes should be implemented in Ultra Street Fighter 4?
Evil Geniuses' Ricky Ortiz recently brought up an interesting subject over on Twitter about what he'd most like to see make a return in Street Fighter. Ortiz stated that if he could ask for one thing to be added to the game, it would be the return of the Guard Power Gauge.
Ricky feels that this would add another level to the already solid ground game established in traditional Street Fighter games.
As a quick recap, the Guard Power Gauge is a meter that starts off as full, and blocking opponent attacks causes it to decrease incrementally. Once the meter is fully depleted, a Guard Crush will occur, causing you to go into a fully vulnerable dizzy state.
This got us thinking about how the implementation of a guard meter and Guard Crushes could potentially affect Capcom's upcoming update, Ultra Street Fighter 4. We'd like to get our readers' opinions on this matter, so we've set up a poll that will allow you to voice your thoughts.
The poll features a standard "Yes" and "No" answer selection, but we've also given you the option to choose "Add a different feature", if you feel something other than the guard meter should be make its way into USF4.
