Infiltration's main focus is physical training instead of in-game practice - people initially told him Akuma was a weak character Once you've reached the highest levels of competition in the fighting games, you might think that in-game practice for insane amounts of time is the best thing you could do — but Lee Seon-Woo, better known in the community as Infiltration, has started taking a different approach.

"Rather than practicing the game, my main focus is on physical training," said Seon-Woo, in an interview with 4Gamer.

Seon-Woo noted that in order to win you need to have physical endurance.

On the subject of why he chose Akuma, who he picked up when he first started playing vanilla Street Fighter 4, Seon-Woo said it was because people were telling him the character wasn't strong at the time.

"The reason I used [Akuma] is because everyone around me said he was a weak character when the game first came out," said Infiltration. Hit the jump to read on.
Infiltration, who uses that nickname because he's a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series also explained why he uses a bat top joystick.

"The very first stick I bought for Street Fighter 4 for 2,000 yen (about $20 USD) just happened to be a bat top by coincidence. It is not the case that I had any special predilection for Crown. I have continued to use this stick because I have grown accustomed to it after all this time," said Seon-Woo.

Infiltration started playing fighting games seriously with the home release of vanilla Street Fighter 4, but he offered another tip for players hoping to raise their skill level.

"If you practice and solely focus on winning, your vision becomes very narrow and you eventually start losing. One reason I use multiple characters is to avoid this," he stated.

Infiltration received some high praise from another top player, MCZ|Tokido who added that, "The path of victory goes through Infiltration. If you want to win any major, you must defeat him."
