The Persona 4 final is so hype and the rage quit the final move was finished. Maybe i should buy Persona 4 now since it's very cheap.

definitely get it, personally it doesn't really appeal to me but its a great game that needs more support to continue to stay alive :p

Damn...These are some hype ass matches, thank you EH for posting tournament footage for games other than Capcom or Injustice :D

I'm sad that the Persona finals were on the secondary stream, since the grand finals were completely amazing.

P4A GF was the moment of the tournament for me.

Go to 13:10 on the P4A grand final to see the BEST moment of the weekend. I'm so glad this game made it to Evo

May I ask? How similar is Persona 4 Arena from Blaze Blue? Because I just started playing BB for the first time recently due to it coming out free for PS Plus members and I'm seeing these videos and P4A seems very similar and if that's the case I wouldn't mind checking it out.

imo its a bit faster paced. the speed of the game is more reminiscent of gg, the combos dont last as long and the overall damage is pretty high (health bars can disappear very quickly). all that said its still relatively similar to BB and if you like that type of game i'd recommend you check out GG as well seeing as how that is the basis for both BB/P4A.

Do they ever use the english voices for Persona 4 Arena? To be honest I prefer those over the japanese dub.

If y'all took the time to watch, what did y'all think of KOF GF's?

Nice to know people still enjoy Persona. I like everything about the game, except Liz and those 2 frame overheads. Oh and those lame status conditions. Other than that it's still a really solid fighting game.

P4A is really underrated, people. Seriously, after seeing a bunch of matches, here's what I've noticed:
- The entire roster gets used
- No Touch of Death
- Comebacks after comebacks after comebacks; the fight can go either way everytime, it's not decided from the start
- Not much auto-combo abuse
- Awesome and numerous combos and setups

I swear, this game, as well as every other ASW game, is much more enjoyable to watch than Capcom's or Namco's games. The only Capcom game I watched for tourneys was TvC, because the most of the roster was used and there were comebacks aplenty. However, since it,s a Wii game and that the FGC is allergic to it, nobody gave a damn about it.

UMvC3 is pretty much decided on the first hit and it gets really repetitive with the combos. SSFIVAE can get stale once in a while. Tekken is mostly a juggling fest. SFxT is a joke...

At least GG, BB and P4A keep it entertaining through and through.

As for KOF 13, mad respect to those players, because damn... those chains are insane to pull off (the trials are downright hard to do...). The game is also very cool to watch, despite seeing many of the usual characters.

@11 The major difference between BB and P4A is the control scheme. While you have a similar 4 button (light (A) , medium (B), hard (C), persona (D)) layout, it uses a lot more double button presses and can be a little harder to play on a pad vs stick in my opinion. (Like having to use down B+D to sweep, A+C to turn around for crossups in the air or Evasive Action on the ground, or A+B for furious action for example)
There's also the persona (D) button which unlike BB's drive button which is a "special" button for characters, it controls the character's persona's moves. Think kind of like Carl and Nirvana in BB except the persona isn't "out" all the time (unless you play Shadow Labrys)

My favorite aspect of the game though is each character is completely unique in movesets and gameplay.

But all in all it's a very fun and underrated game in my opinion., specially if you have people to play locally with.

Huh alright then, I might check out Guilty Gear sometime down the road then, I'mmore of s fan of the faster fighting games so based on what you two said I can see myself enjoying GG and P4A so thank you.

Very awesome hype P4A grand finals. Persona should get more credit than it deserves. Still lovin' the game even after one year ;D
