Capcom considering equipping El Fuerte with better tools to promote thoughtful play, may buff Quesadilla Bomb in Street Fighter 4 series update Capcom UK employee David "Dawgtanian" Hinds posted a couple of brief statements on Twitter yesterday regarding some potential changes to El Fuerte in the upcoming Street Fighter 4 series update. Dawgtanian mentioned that Capcom is considering making Fuerte's Quesadilla Bomb more effective and equipping him with other tools that will promote thoughtful play.

Although they are looking to improve Fuerte, Capcom is trying to make sure they do not over buff him due to his ability of using his run / stop to string normal attacks together.
@TheComboFiend making Quesadilla Bomb more useful, and giving Fuerte tools that encourage thoughtful play instead of randomness.

The key is ensuring he isn't over buffed due to his ability to run stop normals together.
Dawgtanian noted that these changes are not a complete certainty right now but are definitely being considered. As a Fuerte player himself, Hinds mentions that he is pleased with the direction the character is headed.

No changes have been 100% confirmed at this stage. Sharing early thoughts could lead to disappointment.

As an El Fuerte player, I will say I'm pleased with where he is heading.
