Should Scorpion be banned in Injustice tournament play? CD Jr. weighs in - vote in our poll and share your thoughts There has been some controversy surrounding Scorpion in Injustice: Gods Among Us since he was added to the roster earlier this month. Since that time, Netherrealm Studios has released a hot fix patch which nerfed the character, but some people feel like it hasn't been enough.

A Scorpion player by the name of Rchusan recently won the South East Asia Majors 2013 Injustice tournament with that character, although he used other fighters as well.

EMP|CD Jr. has been fairly vocal about banning Scorpion recently on Twitter, comparing him to Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Akuma, who is banned in tournament play. He stated that:

EMP|CD Jr.: Scorpion is ST Akuma this character needs to be banned. I don't give a f--- if he was just released he is clearly broken and breaks the game.

Rico Suave and I got destroyed by REO's two week Scorpion, and we were using our day one mains. REO is just way better than us right? *laughs*

Although this discussion happened earlier in the week, CEO tournament organizer, Alex Jebailey, also got in on the subject asking the scene if they thought the character should be banned, where some replied that Jebailey was "nuts."

Jebailey: @MK_CDjr Remember when I said hey people are asking me to consider banning Scorpion and everyone said I was nuts *laughs*. Let's see what happens.

As this character has been out for some time now, and had a decent run at a major tournament, what do you think? Should he be banned from tournament play, or do you feel he's not that strong of a character? Please feel free to vote in our poll, and/or leave a comment with your thoughts below.
