Jojo's Bizzare Adventure: All Star Battle adds four new characters Speedwagon, Melone, D'Arby, and Emporio UPDATE: Unfortunately, these characters have been redefined as "non-playable."

Namco Bandai made a new announcement today regarding four new characters that will be added to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.

Since these characters are non-playable, it's likely that they will be used as announcers or as stage hazards.
Part 1 - Speedwagon Speedwagon is a compatriot of Jonathan Joestar and Zeppeli in Part 1 of the JoJo series. He has a lot of passion and tricks up his sleeve, but he doesn't engage in much combat in most of the series. He's also known to be an energetic talker and will be commentating all of the menu voice clips.

Part 3 - D'Arby One of the villains from Part 3 that the Jojo team run across in Egypt. Is a stand user whose stand has the ability to turn those who lose against him in gambling into poker chips. How this power will be used in-game seems to be a strong mystery, even in his possible use as a stage hazard.
Part 5 - Melone An antagonist from Part 5. Has a stand named Baby Face which functions using two parts; a computer utilized by Melone for commands and the homunculus itself which attacks. A very complicated stand with unique attacking and defending powers.

Part 6 - Emporio One of the main characters from Part 6 who assists Jolyne Joestar in her missions. Has a very unique stand which functions as a room, where the said room is a manifestation of Emporio's memory. Anything can be pulled out of this room for an attack, though there may be limitations. This might be used to "extend" the length of a stage.
